Job Description
We are seeking a Technical Product Manager to serve as the bridge between business stakeholders and technology teams. This role will work directly with clients to understand business objectives, gather and analyze requirements, define product functionality, and ensure successful delivery of technology solutions. The ideal candidate combines strong business acumen with technical expertise and can effectively communicate with both executive stakeholders and engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with clients and internal stakeholders to understand business goals, challenges, and operational requirements.
- Lead discovery sessions, workshops, and stakeholder interviews to gather and document business and functional requirements.
- Translate business requirements into detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and product specifications for development teams.
- Collaborate with architects, developers, QA teams, and project managers to ensure solutions align with client expectations and technical requirements.
- Manage and prioritize product backlogs, ensuring work is aligned with business priorities and project objectives.
- Analyze existing business processes and recommend improvements to increase efficiency, scalability, and user experience.
- Facilitate communication between business and technical teams throughout the project lifecycle.
Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, user acceptance testing (UAT), and product demonstrations. - Support solution design discussions by evaluating technical approaches, integrations, APIs, data flows, and system capabilities.
- Assist clients with change management, training, product adoption, and release planning activities.
Monitor project progress, identify risks, and proactively address issues impacting delivery. - Maintain project documentation, requirements artifacts, and traceability throughout the development lifecycle.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5 years of experience as a Product Manager, Product Owner, Business Analyst, Solutions Analyst, or similar client-facing role.
- Experience working directly with clients and managing stakeholder relationships.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, software development lifecycle (SDLC), and product delivery processes.
- Ability to translate complex business requirements into technical specifications.
- Excellent communication, presentation, facilitation, and documentation skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Preferred Technical Qualifications
- Experience working with APIs, integrations, databases, and data-driven applications.
- Understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Familiarity with data governance, customer data platforms, analytics, or AI-enabled solutions.
- Experience using tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, OpenProject, Confluence, Figma, or similar platforms.
- Ability to participate in technical discussions with architects and developers while maintaining a business-focused perspective.
