Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Heavy Equipment Operator to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating a variety of construction equipment, including excavators, bulldozers, loaders, and backhoes, and will be responsible for supporting marine and civil construction projects across Florida.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently on active job sites
• Perform tasks such as grading, trenching, excavating, lifting, and material movement
• Conduct pre-shift inspections and routine maintenance on assigned equipment
• Follow project plans, blueprints, and directions from superintendents/foremen
• Adhere to safety regulations and company policies at all times
• Assist crew members with labor duties when equipment operation is not required
  
  

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of heavy equipment operation experience (marine or civil construction preferred)
• Ability to operate multiple types of equipment (excavators, loaders, bulldozers, skid steers, etc.)
• Knowledge of safe operating procedures and OSHA standards
• Strong work ethic and ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Must have reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
