Commercial Driver

Position Description:

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to various locations. This role requires a strong commitment to safe driving, punctuality, and customer service. This is a physically demanding position where loading and unloading at retail accounts is expected. Routes are short-haul and limited to northern Nevada.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport goods to designated locations, following DOT guidelines.
• Load and unload items, ensuring proper handling of packages during heavy lifting.
• Verify accounts are properly rotated according to rotation policies to prevent overage product from reaching the consumer.
• Communicate changes and/or opportunities with individual accounts and the general market to the Sales Personnel and the Area Sales Manager.
• Complete Pre and Post-Trips properly on any equipment used for that day’s delivery, promptly reporting any problems to the Fleet Manager.
• Develop a working knowledge of credit, State & Federal laws/regulations, and Company policies relative to the completion of duties.
• Execute the pre-planned objectives assigned by the Sales Representative for each account.
• Operate all equipment in a safe manner and keep all equipment/vehicles clean.
• Record all daily paperwork involving invoices and collections in a neat and comprehensive manner, balancing daily paperwork to verify that collections match invoices.
• Collaborate with warehouse staff and direct the activities of driver helpers to complete tasks as needed.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Must have valid Class A Driver’s License.
• Must be able to carry up to 50 lbs. and lift up to 170 lbs.
• Must be able to bend, reach, kneel, twist and grip items as needed.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Must be 18 years old (or Subject to Verification of minimum legal age).
