Must be able to drive manual transmission tractors.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate tractor-trailers.
- No haz-mat requirements.
- Comply with all DOT, FMCSA, regulations during operations, maintaining safety at all times.
- Maintain detailed logs of driving hours, deliveries, inspections, and vehicle maintenance in accordance with regulatory requirements.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after trips to identify mechanical issues or safety concerns.
- Communicate effectively regarding route updates, delivery statuses, or any incidents encountered during transit.
- Proven experience in commercial truck driving with a focus on local route driving; delivery driver experience is highly valued.
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with endorsements for tractor-trailer operation.
- Demonstrated knowledge of truck loading and unloading procedures, cargo handling logistics, and freight security practices.
- Knowledge of FMCSA regulations related to hours of service (HOS), vehicle safety standards.
Pay: From $30.00 per hour
