F- Shift (3-2-2-3) Nights 8pm-8am

Summary of Position:
Responsible for operating molding equipment to produce medical device components in accordance with procedures and specifications.

Job Responsibilities:
1. Adjusts machine to specified parameters and monitors temperature, pressure, speed, etc., as required to ensure optimal operation of equipment and quality of product produced.
2. Maintains appropriate documentation (e.g., production records) to comply with regulatory requirements and to document the quality of products produced.
3. Performs basic preventive maintenance on equipment used in process (e.g., cleaning, lubricating).
4. Accurately dispenses material into molds using established methods.
5. Troubleshoots equipment malfunctions and performs corrective action when necessary.
6. Communicates effectively with supervisors/managers and other personnel regarding any issues or problems encountered during operation of machinery.
7. Contributes to continuous improvement by suggesting improvements and participating in problem solving activities.
8. Works safely, ensuring adherence to safety standards and guidelines, and responds to allergens.
9. Wears protective clothing and devices as required.
10. Disposes of waste materials properly.

Qualifications:

• Knowledgeable in manufacturing processes.

• Good communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and/or in a team environment.

• Strong organizational skills.

• Basic computer skills.

Work Environment:

• BD is a smoke-free campus. Smoking and the use of electronic smoking devices, marijuana, or tobacco products are not allowed on BD property, grounds or in the parking areas. We appreciate your cooperation in adhering to this policy

• False eyelashes, press-on fingernails, and Jewelry is not allowed on the production floor including dermals. Any associate wearing dermals will be required to cover them while working on the production floor.

• Shoes are required to be Steel Toe and non-slip for all associates while on the production floor for safety purposes.
