Primary Responsibilities
- Scan, organize, and digitize engineering documents and drawings.
- Recreate or update existing drawings using SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
- Maintain accurate file naming and storage in the document management system.
- Collaborate with engineers to verify dimensions and specifications.
- Assist in quality checks to ensure digital files meet company standards.
- Support other engineering documentation tasks as needed.

Minimum Education:
- Currently enrolled in a technical college pursuing an Associate’s Degree in Engineering Technology, Drafting, or a related field.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Basic understanding of engineering drawings and terminology.
- Familiarity with document management systems.
- Basic knowledge of manufacturing or facility layouts.
- Work Environment: Primarily in a manufacturing and warehouse setting.
- Climate Control: Work areas may include both climate-controlled office spaces and non-climate-controlled warehouses or production environments. Must be able to work comfortably in varying temperatures and humidity levels.
- Mobility: Must be able to move freely throughout the plant, including warehouse, shipping/receiving, and sterilization areas.
- Standing/Walking: Frequent standing and walking required during plant floor supervision and process observation.
- Sitting: Moderate sitting during meetings, planning, and administrative tasks.
- Lifting/Carrying: Occasionally lift and carry materials or equipment up to 25 lbs.
- Climbing/Bending: Occasional bending, stooping, and climbing (e.g., stairs, equipment platforms).
- PPE: Must wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) when in designated areas.
- BD is a smoke-free campus. Smoking and the use of electronic smoking devices, marijuana, or tobacco products are not allowed on BD property, grounds or in the parking areas. We appreciate your cooperation in adhering to this policy
- False eyelashes, press-on fingernails, and Jewelry is not allowed on the production floor including dermals. Any associate wearing dermals will be required to cover them while working on the production floor.
- Shoes are required to be Steel Toe and non-slip for all associates while on the production floor for safety purposes.
