Responsibilities:

  • Create CAPEX and OPEX requisitions needed by site and monitor through approvals.

  • Follow up on BD payment delays to vendors.

  • Report on financial performance and prepare for regular leadership reviews.

  • Determine cost of operations by working to establish standard costs and collecting operational data.

  • Guide cost analysis process by establishing and enforcing policies and procedures; providing trends and forecasts; explaining processes and techniques; recommending actions.

  • Determine cost of operations by working to establish standard costs and collecting operational data.

  • Recommend actions regarding distribution center financial improvements and potential risks to overall budget by analyzing and interpreting data and making comparative analyses.

  • Reconcile transactions by comparing and correcting data.

  • Maintain databases by entering, verifying, and backing up data.

  • Support invoice process and ensure process is completed within appropriate time frame.

  • Perform steps related to completing daily reports, month end reports, metric updates, and budget to actual. Maintain neat and accurate files.

  • Perform purchasing activities for warehouse and office supplies and maintain vendor spreadsheet by item and inventory.

  • At times, position may be required to support operational activities in the DC or analytics coordinator activities at other DCs than their home site.

  • Maintain constant contact with corporate financial personnel including high-level managers within Becton Dickinson to accomplish mutual goals.

  • Assist the Senior Analytics Manager with schedule management, preparation for meetings, and other duties assigned, as needed.

  • Act as a backup for answering calls which includes answering in a cheerful, courteous, timely manner. Handle caller inquires whenever possible. Re-direct calls as appropriate and take adequate messages when required.

  • Become knowledgeable of the responsibilities of the other positions to assist in times of urgency, breaks, absences, or vacation

Minimum Requirement:

  • High School Diploma or GED
