Accounting Clerk (Law Firm)

Based in Los Angeles, BD&J is the leading personal injury law firm seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our Accounting Department. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for someone who is highly organized, dependable, and looking to grow within a professional office environment.

The ideal candidate will play a key role in supporting our accounting team by maintaining accurate and organized financial records, both digital and physical. Responsibilities include:

• Organize, scan, file, and maintain accounting and financial documents
• Ensure all invoices, payment records, and reports are accurately filed and labeled
• Assist with document retrieval and records requests from accounting team members
• Help with data entry and updating internal accounting systems
• Support periodic audits and month-end close processes by preparing documentation
• Maintain confidentiality and follow proper protocols for handling sensitive financial information
• Perform general office support tasks as needed within the department

Qualifications:

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to manage a high volume of files and maintain accuracy
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with scanning software
• Dependable, punctual, and able to follow instructions
• Prior experience in an office environment preferred
• Interest in accounting or finance is a plus
