Responsibilities
- Manage inventory levels through accurate data collection, analysis, and forecasting.
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely procurement and sourcing of materials, leveraging negotiation skills to optimize pricing and contracts.
- Conduct root cause analysis on inventory discrepancies or stock shortages to implement process improvements and prevent recurrence.
- Oversee warehouse operations including materials handling, shipping & receiving, order fulfillment, and stock replenishment activities.
- Maintain comprehensive records of inventory transactions, stock movements, and cycle counts to support inventory control accuracy.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as merchandising, logistics, and production planning to align inventory strategies with business goals.
Experience
- Proven experience in supply chain management, warehouse distribution, or inventory control within a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with procurement processes, sourcing strategies, and supplier management practices.
- Hands-on experience with materials handling equipment including forklifts; certification preferred but not required.
- Ability to perform root cause analysis and implement continuous process improvements effectively.
