BD Advanced Patient Monitoring (APM) is seeking a detail‑oriented Marketing Specialist (Contractor) to support the execution of marketing initiatives across digital channels and in‑person events.
This execution‑focused role supports the development and adaptation of approved messaging and visual assets for use across social media, websites, event materials, and other promotional touchpoints. Working closely with global and regional marketing colleagues, agency partners, and internal review teams, the Marketing Specialist ensures marketing materials are delivered accurately, on time, and in compliance with MLR requirements within a highly regulated medical device environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Content Development & Adaptation:
- Develop and adapt marketing content — including copy and visuals — to support sustaining initiatives, product promotion, and events.
- Create and update B2B social media content using approved messaging, claims, and creative frameworks.
- Adapt existing messaging and visuals for use across multiple channels, including websites, paid media creative assets, and event‑related materials.
- Partner with cross‑functional stakeholders to ensure alignment with established brand and messaging direction.
- Prepare all work products to move efficiently through BD’s Medical, Legal, and Regulatory (MLR) review process.
Execution & Project Coordination:
- Manage assigned tasks and deliverables independently, ensuring timelines are met and expectations are clearly communicated.
- Track revisions, updates, and approvals across multiple projects simultaneously.
- Incorporate stakeholder and MLR feedback accurately and efficiently.
Additional Support:
- Support other marketing execution needs as required, based on business priorities and campaign timelines.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Design, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 2–4 years of hands‑on marketing experience, with a focus on content development, adaptation, and execution.
- Experience working in highly regulated industries (Medical Devices or Pharma preferred). Candidates with B2B experience in Technology, Manufacturing, or Industrial sectors will also be considered.
- Experience developing or adapting content for B2B social media audiences.
- Prior exposure to Adobe Creative Suite or similar tools through marketing or communications work.
Skills & Attributes:
- Ability to make light visual edits and content adaptations using Adobe Creative Suite or similar tools.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy, particularly in regulated environments.
- Highly organized and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
