What Youll Do
The Marketing Content Specialist helps shape clear, compelling communications that strengthen the BCSP brand and connect with key audiences. In this role, you will copy-edit content in AP style and create marketing materials for e-books, digital campaigns, and email communications. Reporting to the Creative Marketing Manager, you will also collaborate with the executive team to support strategic presentations and C-suite communications.
Key Responsibilities
- Copy-edit BCSP written communications in AP style to ensure consistency, clarity, and quality.
- Apply BCSP brand guidelines across content to maintain a clear and consistent voice.
- Lead writing assignments and content projects as directed by the Creative Marketing Manager.
- Partner with the executive team to develop polished communications and strategic presentations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide writing support and content input for key initiatives.
- Contribute to the development of email campaigns that engage target audiences and support marketing goals.
- Create and refine digital content such as e-books, interviews, and other written materials tailored to target audiences and personas.
- Translate research and complex information into engaging, audience-focused marketing content.
- Recommend fresh content ideas and formats that support brand and campaign objectives.
- Maintain and organize BCSPs library of PowerPoint templates and presentation assets.
Qualifications Needed
- Bachelors degree in communications, marketing, journalism, or a closely related field preferred.
- 3 years of experience in professional writing, copy-editing, and content creation.
- 1 years of experience working with AP style.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong follow-through skills.
- Confidence working independently and collaboratively with colleagues at all levels of the organization.
