Duties
- Prepare digital files for printing by verifying specifications, color accuracy, and layout integrity using industry-standard software such as Adobe Creative Suite.
- Manage color calibration and consistency across multiple printing platforms to ensure vibrant, accurate reproduction.
- Review artwork, make necessary adjustments, and optimize files for various printing techniques.
- Conduct quality control checks on proofs and final prints to identify issues related to registration, color discrepancies, or material defects.
- Maintain detailed records of job specifications, color profiles, and production notes to ensure consistency across projects.
- Support the setup of printing presses.
Experience
- Proven experience in prepress operations within a manufacturing or print advertising environment.
- Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) for artwork preparation and layout design.
- Expertise in color management systems to maintain color fidelity across different media and substrates.
- Experience working in a fast-paced production setting with a focus on quality control standards.
- Ability to troubleshoot technical issues related to file preparation efficiently.
Pay: $22.00 - $27.00 per hour
