Vice President of Finance
Our client is a rapidly growing, private equity-backed field services and construction-related platform seeking a Vice President of Finance to partner directly with the CFO during a critical phase of expansion. This role will play a key leadership position in supporting M&A execution, post-acquisition integration, financial infrastructure development, and multi-entity financial management across a geographically dispersed organization.
The ideal candidate will bring strong private equity-backed experience, operational finance leadership, and a proven ability to scale finance organizations in high-growth, acquisition-driven environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner closely with the CFO and executive leadership team to support strategic growth initiatives and operational scalability.
- Lead finance activities across a complex, multi-entity operating structure.
- Drive post-acquisition integration efforts, including process standardization, systems alignment, reporting consolidation, and internal controls implementation.
- Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes and consolidated reporting.
- Enhance KPI reporting, forecasting, budgeting, and financial analytics to support executive decision-making and sponsor reporting.
- Support M&A activity including diligence, integration planning, purchase accounting coordination, and operational onboarding.
- Build scalable financial processes and infrastructure to support continued geographic and operational expansion.
- Partner cross-functionally with operations leadership to improve visibility into business performance, profitability, and cash flow.
- Assist in strengthening finance team structure, talent development, and organizational processes.
Qualifications
- 5 years of progressive finance leadership experience within private equity-backed organizations.
- Strong background in multi-location, field services, construction, industrial services, or related operationally intensive environments.
- Proven experience supporting acquisition-heavy growth strategies and post-close integrations.
- Deep understanding of multi-entity consolidations, financial reporting, and operational finance.
- Experience building scalable finance infrastructure in high-growth businesses.
- ERP implementation or optimization experience strongly preferred.
