Accounting Manager

BCS Finance is partnering with a growing private equity-backed services company seeking an Accounting Manager to join its finance team. This role will oversee a team of 3, lead the accounting and reporting function, and support FP&A and M&A initiatives as the company continues to grow through acquisitions
.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and develop a team of 3 accounting professionals
- Lead the month-end and year-end close processes
- Oversee financial reporting and account reconciliations
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
- Support acquisition due diligence and post-acquisition integrations
- Partner with leadership on strategic finance initiatives and process improvements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 4-8 years of progressive accounting experience
- Private equity portfolio company experience required
- Prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred
- CPA is a plus
- Public accounting experience is a plus
- Exposure to M&A transactions and FP&A activities preferred
