This is a full-time, on-site role for a Lead Cable Technician based in Irvine, CA. The Lead Cable Technician will oversee cable installations, maintenance, and troubleshooting, including structured cabling and electrical components. Daily tasks involve managing the installation of structured cabling systems, operating hand tools, adhering to safety protocols, coordinating with team members, and ensuring that projects are completed efficiently and accurately.
- Knowledge and experience with Cables and Cabling equipment.
- Proficiency in Structured Cabling systems and methodologies.
- Understanding of Electricity fundamentals as they relate to the role.
- Skilled in safely operating Hand Tools relevant to cabling and electrical work.
- Strong organizational and troubleshooting abilities.
- Physical ability to perform tasks such as lifting and climbing as required for cabling installations.
- Prior experience in a leadership or supervisory role within cabling or similar industries is preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in cabling or electrical systems are a plus.
