Project Details:

We are seeking a senior I&C Project Manager to lead the Main Annunciator System upgrade at Diablo Canyon. The project replaces the plant's existing standalone control room annunciator system with an Ovation Distributed Control System (DCS) based solution on the Westinghouse/Emerson Ovation platform. Control room annunciators alert operations staff visually and audibly to abnormal plant conditions; the modernization addresses aging, obsolescence, and operational flexibility of the legacy system. The ideal candidate has managed digital I&C modernization projects in an operating nuclear environment and brings direct familiarity with the Ovation platform.

• Responsibilities:
• Lead the Ovation-based annunciator system upgrade end to end, managing project scope, schedule, budget, and risk
• Coordinate engineering, design, installation, and commissioning activities across internal and vendor teams
• Interface with plant engineering, operations, and maintenance to integrate the upgrade with plant systems and outage windows
• Manage vendor deliverables and coordination (Westinghouse/Emerson Ovation)
• Support work order planning, modification packages, and field implementation
• Track and report project status, milestones, and issues to the client
• Ensure work is executed in accordance with plant procedures and applicable I&C standards

• Requirements:
• B.S. in Electrical Engineering, I&C Engineering, or a related technical discipline (or equivalent experience)
• Minimum 10 years of I&C experience in a nuclear power plant environment
• Demonstrated project management experience on digital I&C or DCS modernization projects
• Direct experience with the Ovation (Westinghouse/Emerson) platform
• Ability to read and interpret I&C drawings, logic diagrams, and technical specifications
• Strong coordination, documentation, and client-facing communication skills
• Must be able to obtain and maintain unescorted access authorization at a nuclear facility

• Qualifications:
• PMP certification
• Prior experience managing control room annunciator or DCS replacement projects
• Experience coordinating I&C work within nuclear outage schedules
