Mechanical Technician
Work Location: Hawthorne, CA 90250
Duration: 6 months with the possibility of going direct
Hours: Full Time / 40 hrs
Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Technician with a strong background in process or chemical plant operations. Support the efficient and safe operation of high-pressure gas systems, piping, and vessels. The ideal candidate will have experience in complex water systems and pump operations.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Support the maintenance and operation of high-pressure gas systems, piping, and vessels.
- Diagnose mechanical issues and implement effective solutions to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to improve system efficiency and reliability.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and procedures.
- Support Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance.
- Required Skills:
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a process or chemical plant environment.
- Knowledge of high-pressure gas systems and their maintenance.
- Experience with piping and vessel operations.
- Expertise in water systems management, including pumps and circulators.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Preferred Skills and Experience:Ability to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems down to the component level.
Salary : $35 - $55
