BCMW is seeking an experienced Education Manager to lead the education component of our Head Start program. This role ensures high-quality classroom instruction, supports teaching staff, and maintains compliance with Head Start Performance Standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee curriculum, lesson planning, and school readiness goals
- Supervise and support teachers, coaches, and education staff
- Monitor classrooms to ensure quality, safety, and compliance
- Analyze child outcomes data to guide improvements
- Lead staff training, coaching, and performance evaluations
- Maintain CLASS reliability and Teaching Strategies data system
- Collaborate with families, school districts, and program teams
- Manage education-related budgets and classroom resources
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
- Minimum 5 years experience with preschool-aged children
- Supervisory experience preferred
- Experience with diverse and low-income populations
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Requirements
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to pass background checks (DCFS & criminal)
- TB test clearance
- CPR/First Aid (or willingness to obtain)
