We are looking for a Sales Application Engineer who thrives at the intersection of engineering and customer engagement. In this role, you will work closely with sales, engineering, and customers to deliver tailored IPC solutions and provide technical expertise throughout the sales cycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with the sales team to understand customer needs and recommend tailored IPC solutions
- Develop technical specifications for custom and non-standard products
- Deliver product presentations, demos, and technical workshops (in-person & virtual)
- Respond to RFQs/RFPs and prepare technical proposals
- Serve as the primary technical contact during pre-sales and early post-sales phases
- Collaborate with product management and engineering to share customer feedback and market insights
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customer technical contacts
- Support product roadmap development based on cross-functional input
- Review marketing materials (datasheets, product briefs, web content) for technical accuracy
- Maintain CRM records with technical updates and documentation
- Assist with prototype assembly, testing, and high-level troubleshooting
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
- Strong technical knowledge of x86 and ARM platforms
- Self-motivated with excellent time management and ability to work independently
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Project)
- Fluent in English (Mandarin Chinese is a plus)
- Willingness to travel as needed
