A leading international law firm is seeking a high-performing Counsel to join its nationally recognized Real Estate practice. Candidates should have at least 10 years of sophisticated real estate transactional experience, including significant work in real estate development and redevelopment—particularly build-to-suit leases with work letters, land acquisitions, and preparing land for development or redevelopment.
This position offers the opportunity to engage in complex, high-impact work for premier clients, supported by strong internal resources, mentorship, and cross-office collaboration. The successful candidate will represent developers, owners, investors, REITs, lenders, and corporate occupiers in transactions across a range of asset classes, including industrial, office, retail, multifamily, mixed-use, community facilities, and data centers.
Key responsibilities include:
Drafting and negotiating purchase and sale agreements, commercial leases (including ground and triple-net), build-to-suit leases, development agreements, joint venture documentation, and related real estate contracts
Leading due diligence efforts, including title and survey review, as well as zoning and land use analysis
Coordinating and closing acquisitions, dispositions, financings, and development transactions
Managing workflows, mentoring junior lawyers, and ensuring timely delivery of high-quality client work

Experience overseeing due diligence, managing closings, and negotiating detailed transaction documents
Prior mentoring experience is advantageous
