Real Estate Attorney
This position offers a unique opportunity to work on high-profile real estate matters with a focus on corporate transactions, mergers, acquisitions, and strategic real estate deals.
Key Responsibilities:
• Real Estate Transactions: Lead and manage complex real estate deals including acquisitions, sales, leasing, and financing, ensuring all aspects comply with legal and regulatory requirements.
• Corporate Transactions: Work alongside corporate teams to integrate real estate considerations into broader mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, and other corporate restructuring activities.
• Negotiation & Drafting: Draft, review, and negotiate various real estate and corporate documents, including purchase agreements, leases, financing documents, and other related contracts.
• Due Diligence: Conduct thorough due diligence on commercial properties and assist with risk assessments related to corporate transactions.
• Client Advisory: Provide strategic legal counsel to clients on structuring deals that align with their business goals and minimize potential legal risks.
Qualifications:
• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Licensed to practice law in Texas.
• At least 5 years of experience in real estate law with a strong focus on corporate transactions.
• Solid understanding of both commercial real estate law and corporate law principles.
• Experience working on real estate deals in connection with corporate transactions such as mergers, acquisitions, or other business deals.
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and drafting skills.
