Job Skills / Requirements

BCJ Building Services is seeking a Recruiter and Onboarding Specialist based in Atlanta to support our growing field operations. This role will focus exclusively on recruiting, hiring, and pipeline building for field service positions in the Atlanta market.

This position is ideal for someone who knows the local labor market, is comfortable being out in the community, and can move quickly to fill open roles.

Key Responsibilities

Recruiting & Hiring:

•Own full-cycle recruiting for Atlanta field roles (cleaners, leads, supervisors)

•Work closely with the HR department in Atlanta to post and manage job ads across platforms (Indeed, Facebook, local groups, etc.)

•Actively source candidates through referrals, walk-ins, community outreach, and events

•Conduct phone and in-person interviews

•Coordinate hiring decisions with Account Managers

•Extend offers and support onboarding handoff to HR

Local Market Engagement

•Build relationships with local organizations, workforce agencies, churches, and community groups

•Attend or organize job fairs and hiring events

•Maintain a local candidate pipeline (not just reactive hiring)

Speed & Communication

•Respond quickly to applicants (same-day or next-day where possible)

•Provide weekly updates on open roles, candidate flow, and time-to-fill to HR

•Partner closely with Atlanta Operations leaders to understand staffing needs

Qualifications

•Recruiting, staffing, HR, or talent acquisition experience (field / hourly roles preferred)

•Strong knowledge of the Atlanta labor market

•Comfortable working independently and managing priorities

•Excellent communication and follow-up skills

•Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred

•Reliable transportation for local recruiting activities
