CNC Maintenance Technician

BCI Solutions, Inc.
Bremen, IN Full Time
POSTED ON 8/8/2026
AVAILABLE BEFORE 9/6/2026
Description

Build Reliability. Eliminate Downtime. Drive Results.

Every machine tells a story.

The question is whether you can read it.

The hum of a spindle, an intermittent fault, a hydraulic leak that hasn't become a failure yet. Experienced maintenance technicians recognize the signs before downtime happens. They don't just fix broken machines. They improve reliability, eliminate repeat failures, and keep production moving.

If that's how you approach your work, we'd like to meet you.

What You'll Do

As our CNC Maintenance Technician, you'll be responsible for keeping our machining operations running safely and efficiently by:

  • Troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and CNC control issues
  • Performing preventive and predictive maintenance to maximize equipment uptime
  • Diagnosing equipment failures and identifying permanent corrective actions
  • Repairing and rebuilding machine components including spindles, ballscrews, guide rails, pumps, valves, and drive systems
  • Operating manual machine tools to fabricate and modify replacement parts
  • Reading blueprints, electrical schematics, hydraulic diagrams, and technical documentation
  • Performing precision alignments and machine calibration using precision measuring equipment
  • Troubleshooting PLCs and CNC controls including Fanuc, Haas, Siemens, Okuma, or similar platforms
  • Supporting continuous improvement initiatives that improve reliability and reduce downtime
  • Working closely with operators to improve machine performance and prevent recurring failures
  • Maintaining accurate maintenance documentation and a safe work environment

You're Probably a Great Fit If You...

  • Enjoy solving problems that others can't figure out
  • Take pride in preventing breakdowns, not just fixing them
  • Think through root causes instead of treating symptoms
  • Can work independently while being a dependable teammate
  • Believe good maintenance is about reliability, not just repairs
  • Like building, fabricating, and improving equipment

Why BCI?

We aren't looking for someone to simply respond when a machine goes down.

We're investing in someone who wants to improve the entire operation.

You'll work on challenging equipment, be trusted to solve problems, and have the opportunity to make a visible impact every day. Your ideas won't disappear into a suggestion box. If they improve reliability, we'll put them to work.
