Job Overview
A law firm seeks a Senior Immigration Associate Attorney in Washington, DC. This role offers the opportunity to work remotely or in a hybrid setting, handling a variety of employment-based immigration matters. The position involves direct client interaction and collaboration with experienced attorneys, as well as handling family-based immigration and petitions.
Duties
- Handle H-1B petitions, TN applications, and O and P visa renewals.
- Manage E-2 visa embassy processing.
- Handle family-based immigration and petitions.
- Manage adjustment of status and consular processing.
- Defend clients in removal and deportation cases.
- Participate in immigration court proceedings.
- Work on asylum and humanitarian cases.
- Assist with DACA, TPS, U visas, and waivers.
- Prepare for naturalization and citizenship processes.
- Collaborate on case strategy and client advising.
- Prepare end-to-end immigration petitions.
Requirements
- 15 years of experience in employment-based immigration matters and family-based immigration and petitions.
- Admission to DC State Bar.
- Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication skills for client interaction.
Education
- JD from an ABA-accredited law school.
Certifications
- Admission to DC State Bar.
