Job Summary: The Family Engagement Coordinator is responsible for using sound

Essential Functions:
- Coordinate the Parent Advisory Committee (PAC) and ensure members are actively
- Solicit and share family feedback with the PAC for analysis, strategy development, and
- Develop, review, and revise a quarterly outreach plan with the support of the PAC.
- Conduct family surveys to assess needs and review results with the PAC.
- Partner with the PAC to host parent-led events, initiatives, parent cafes, and other
- Provide targeted outreach and recruitment of participants for FRC activities to identify
- Provide/facilitate training for families on self-advocacy and leadership.
- Establish and maintain a trusting and professional working relationship with families by
- Record all group and individualized services and activities in a complete, concise, and

- Document all attendance on a weekly basis in all platforms.
- Attend all required annual trainings.
- Provide community education on child development, parenting, or other topics requested
- Collaborate with the supervisor to develop updates, reminders, and community
- Meet with supervisor on a bi-weekly basis to evaluate status of families on caseload.
- Meet all deliverables as outlined in the contract.
- Demonstrate the ability to:
- Respond sensitively and competently to the service population’s cultural and

- Maintain computer literacy required to meet the responsibilities of the position.

- Maintain certificates required for the position including but not limited to First Aid and
- Valid Texas Driver’s license with a clear driving record and reliable transportation.
