Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Python Developer to join our dynamic team supporting banking technology and Generative AI initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Python, GenAI lifecycle management, RAG pipelines, vector databases, and API-first application development and a proven ability to deliver secure, scalable AI-driven applications for document processing, risk analytics, and compliance reporting.

Responsibilities:

• Develop object-oriented applications in Python using sound engineering practices.
• Implement and optimize vector database solutions for embedding storage and retrieval.
• Design and implement GenAI lifecycle and RAG pipelines including chunking, embedding, retrieval, re-ranking, and summarization for banking use cases.
• Evaluate and test embedding models and frameworks for performance, latency, memory, and cost.
• Apply prompt engineering, grounding, and hallucination mitigation techniques.
• Build API-driven services with FastAPI and API Gateway and integrate with MongoDB, Redis, and front-end frameworks such as Angular or React.
• Develop utilities, automation frameworks, and data pipelines to support AI/ML and GenAI programs.
• Create monitoring dashboards and automation scripts for system health and performance.
• Collaborate with DevOps using Git/Bitbucket, Jenkins, SonarQube, Artifactory, and Ansible.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, compliant, and scalable solutions in a regulated environment.
• Explore agentic architectures for orchestration and multi-step reasoning in AI workflows.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Primary skill: Python with strong object-oriented design and development.
• Secondary skills: Vector databases, Django or Flask, FastAPI, Kafka, and containerization (OpenShift, Docker, Kubernetes).
• 5 years of professional experience in Python software engineering.
• Deep experience with GenAI lifecycle and RAG pipelines.
• Expertise in prompt engineering and AI safety techniques.
• Hands-on with MongoDB, Redis, FastAPI, API integrations, and container deployment.
• Strong knowledge of model testing and evaluation for performance and reliability.
• Solid understanding of DevOps practices and enterprise tooling.
• Understanding of Kafka integration and configuration.
• Ability to deploy Python services to containers using OpenShift and Docker.
• Proven collaboration with large cross-functional teams in regulated settings.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure and serverless architectures.
• Knowledge of agentic architectures and orchestration frameworks.
• Exposure to AI/ML use cases in regulatory relations or risk analytics.
