Job Description
We are seeking a Software Engineer, Treasury Funding Technology to join our dynamic team within the Strategic Asset Liability Management Technology group. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in .NET, SQL Server, API development, UI and server-side engineering, and CI/CD and a proven ability to design, build, and support high-volume, risk and position management applications.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and enhance Treasury Funding applications that calculate intraday position and risk.
- Provide technical direction and system architecture for individual initiatives and projects.
- Build and maintain .NET multi-threaded Windows services and RESTful APIs.
- Develop and support ETL processes, including performance tuning of data pipelines and routines.
- Create and maintain automation and scheduling with Autosys and related tooling.
- Collaborate with global delivery teams, external developers, business partners, and deployment teams.
- Apply application security standards and comply with application management policies.
- Identify, triage, and resolve issues critical to achieving business objectives.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 7 years of software engineering experience in enterprise environments.
- Proficiency with .NET development, multi-threaded Windows services, and REST API design.
- Strong SQL Server skills including schema design, queries, and performance optimization.
- Hands-on experience with ETL and scripting (e.g., Perl).
- Experience with scheduling and automation tools such as Autosys.
- Familiarity with CI/CD and DevOps tools such as Jira or Rally, Bitbucket, Jenkins, Ansible, and Artifactory.
- Strong facilitation and communication skills, both verbal and written, for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
Preferred Skills:
- Exposure to process testing domains and high-volume data loads.
- Experience with Oracle databases.
- Performance tuning of ETL routines.
- Infrastructure knowledge, including remediation activities such as NPT.
- Experience in Agile development within global delivery models.
