What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mutual Funds Specialist position at BCForward?
Position: Mutual Funds Specialist
Location: Milwaukee, WI (Hybrid – 3 days onsite, 2 days remote)
Duration: 6 Months Contract
Pay Rate: $31/hr
Key Responsibilities:
- Review mutual fund subscription documents for accuracy and completeness.
- Set up new investor accounts in the recordkeeping system.
- Respond to client, shareholder, and internal inquiries via email.
- Assist with distributions, capital calls, tender offers, and other fund-related transactions.
- Ensure compliance with AML, KYC, and banking regulations.
- Maintain accurate records and support daily fund operations.
Required Qualifications:
- Experience in banking, financial services, mutual funds, or investment operations.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and financial systems.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Transfer agency or fund administration experience.
- Knowledge of mutual funds, shareholder services, AML, and KYC processes.
