BCForward is currently seeking a highly motivated Java Developer for an on-site opportunity in Cincinnati, OH
Role: Java Developer
Duration: 6 Months
Locations: Cincinnati, OH
Anticipated Start Date: 04/27/2026
Job Type: Contract – Remote
We are looking for an experienced Java professional with strong hands-on development and leadership skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality Java-based backend services
- Work extensively with Spring Boot and the Spring Framework, including security (authentication & authorization)
- Build and manage RESTful APIs with proper versioning, documentation, and backward compatibility
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in production environments
- Provide technical leadership, including architecture guidance, code reviews, and mentoring team members
- Drive technical decisions and ensure timely delivery of solutions
