Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Electro-Mechanic to support a leading packaging manufacturer in Winchester, KY. The role focuses on maintaining equipment reliability, troubleshooting issues, and minimizing downtime while adhering to strict safety standards. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in industrial maintenance, injection molding equipment, and PLC/drives troubleshooting and a proven ability to execute preventive/predictive maintenance and timely repairs to sustain safe, quality production.
Responsibilities:
Follow and enforce safety policies, identify risks, and use required PPE.
Perform and document preventive and predictive maintenance to reduce breakdowns.
Create and close work orders using C-Works and maintain accurate records.
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
Read and interpret mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical schematics.
Install, troubleshoot, and repair AC/DC motors and variable speed drives.
Modify, read, troubleshoot, and install PLC programs as directed.
Fabricate and install electrical, mechanical, piping, and pneumatic components.
Rebuild machine parts and assemblies to restore function and reliability.
Operate shop tools and equipment including lathes, drills, mills, and welders.
Collaborate with operations to resolve abnormal conditions affecting safety, quality, or productivity.
Meet Category 2 electrical safe work practice standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
2–3 years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
Hands-on injection molding processing and troubleshooting abilities.
Proficiency with AC/DC motors, drives, PLCs, pneumatics, hydraulics, and mechanical systems.
Ability to read electrical and mechanical schematics and technical documentation.
Skilled use of machine shop tools and welding equipment.
Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work independently.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, climb stairs, and perform repetitive tasks.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with machine and tooling maintenance procedures for injection molding.
Knowledge of robotics and auxiliary equipment used with plastic injection molding.
Salary : $31 - $35
