About the RoleThis position is a replacement role previously based in California and now primarily supporting the Bolingbrook and Santa Rosa teams. As our Inventory Planner, you’ll play a key part in maintaining accurate inventory, supporting production, and ensuring we have the right product at the right time for customer demand.This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working cross-functionally, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is comfortable managing both raw materials and finished goods.Key ResponsibilitiesInventory Planning & AnalysisBuild and maintain inventory strategies using lead times, safety stock, lot sizes, and sales forecasting data.Track inventory trends and recommend adjustments to reduce shortages, excess, and waste.Monitor raw materials and finished goods to ensure accurate levels and timely replenishment.Data & Systems ManagementMaintain Item Master Data and ensure accuracy in ERP systems.Generate and evaluate reports to support planning decisions, production needs, and financial accuracy.Cross-Functional CollaborationPartner with Sales, QA, Customer Service, Inventory Management, Logistics, Purchasing, Finance, and Operations.Support both Bolingbrook manufacturing and Santa Rosa distribution with day-to-day planning needs.Work closely with production teams to align inventory with manufacturing schedules.Process & ComplianceDevelop, update, and enforce inventory policies and procedures.Identify opportunities to improve planning workflows and reduce operational costs.What We’re Looking ForExperience: 3 years in inventory planning, supply chain, demand planning, or related roles (food or manufacturing strongly preferred).Technical Skills: Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, data analysis), ERP/Inventory system experience.Strengths: Analytical thinker, detail-focused, proactive, strong problem-solver.Collaboration: Able to work across functions and build strong relationships with Operations and Sales.Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, or related field preferred (equivalent experience accepted).
Salary : $68,000 - $88,000
