About the Role

Love bringing order to moving parts and making big moments feel effortless? As a Simple Congress Manager, you'll support Life Sciences congress programs in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment where compliance, precision, and collaboration matter every day. You'll keep logistics, attendee management, budgets, and supplier coordination running smoothly while partnering closely with internal teams, congress owners, and Professional Congress Organizers. It's a great fit for someone who enjoys structured planning, clear communication, and delivering polished experiences with confidence.

You're Good At

• Managing congress logistics from registration and hotel room blocks to ground transportation, dining, and attendee communications
• Working in a compliance-focused, detail-driven environment where documentation, audit readiness, and deadlines are non-negotiable
• Building and reconciling budgets, reviewing invoices and contracts, and helping keep programs financially on track
• Using tools like Cvent to maintain accurate attendee data, reporting, and communications across multiple workstreams
• Partnering with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to solve problems quickly and keep projects moving forward.
  

You Might Also Have

• 3 years of congress, convention, or meeting planning experience, ideally in Life Sciences or pharmaceutical environments
• Experience managing outside vendors, sourcing services, and negotiating contracts for the best value
• A strong customer service mindset with confidence handling client questions and high-touch attendee needs
• International attendee experience, travel industry knowledge, or destination expertise
• Experience with Cvent, plus Spanish or Portuguese language skills

Travel requirements for this role are as follows:Less than 25%

We carefully consider a wide range of compensation factors, including your professional background and experience. The salary range for candidates in applicable jurisdictions in the US for the position of Congress Manager is between $60,000 - $70,000. The actual pay depends on your skills, qualifications, experience, geographical location, and project budget.
