BCC Freight Haulers, Inc is a small independently owned full truckload brokerage company located in Beebe, AR. We have been in business for 20 years and have excellent reputation in the industry. BCC Freight Haulers is at a crossroads to expand into the next stage of its development. We are looking for someone to lead the operations staff into that next stage. That person should have disciplined management experience, able to hire qualified staff on a consistent basis and train those new hires into productive agents as well as identifying and pursuing new customer prospects.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee sales staff daily operations Identify HOT daily loads
- Set guidelines for daily accomplishments, like number of quality calls made.
- Hold sales staff accountable for goal setting meetings
- Identify potential ‘residual’ lanes the set goals for carrier contacts on each
- Build a strong sales/agent staff
- Market for, screen and hire solid new agents
- Oversee training of new sales staff, create a sales training program
- Teach new staff how to look for ‘residual’ lanes with customers
- Sales training 101, asking questions
- Maintain customer relationship with current customers
- Identify and pursue new customers that fit our ideal customer profile
- Constant study of price trends in order to prepare sales staff
- Be aware of any new government regulation that might change industry
- Identify any new service or app that would give BCC an edge on the industry, prepare presentation for need and profitability
Qualifications:
- 5 years operations manager experience
- Leadership skills
- Negation skills
- Strong organization and multitasking skills
- Understanding of DOT compliance and safety regulations
- Bachelors degree
