SUMMARY 

Responsible for leading the enterprise Agent Enablement arm, providing strategic direction, governance, and oversight across all agent related functions, including Agent Experience, Agent Administration, Agent Engagement, Agent Communications, and Sales Learning. This role ensures agent enablement strategies are integrated, aligned to Segment Sales priorities, and designed to support agent effectiveness and consistency.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.  Other duties may be assigned.

  1. Provide enterprise leadership and oversight for the Agent Enablement function, ensuring cohesive strategy, governance, and prioritization across Agent Experience, Agent Administration, Agent Engagement, Agent Communications, Channel Partnerships and Sales Learning. 
  2. Establish operating standards and lead change initiatives to evolve agent enablement models.
  3. Partner with Segment Sales leadership to align agent enablement strategies to sales priorities, growth initiatives, and retention goals. 
  4. Translate sales direction into integrated enablement approaches that support agent effectiveness and consistency.
  5. Oversee agent engagement and partner strategies, including approaches for chambers and associations, to support sales performance and retention while informing broader marketing and enablement strategies.
  6. Lead, coach, and develop Directors and Managers within the Agent Enablement arm. Establish performance expectations, support leadership development, and ensure accountability across enablement teams.
  7. Serve as a strategic consultant to internal business partners, collaborating with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Actuarial, Underwriting, HCV, Product, Customer Marketing and Customer Experience to address complex enablement related business.

 

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE 

  1. Bachelor’s degree in related field required. Master’s degree preferred.
  2. Minimum 10 years of progressive leadership experience, including senior level or director level responsibility.
  3. Experience leading agent enablement, sales enablement, partner support, or agent facing functions is required.
  4. Strong understanding of the agent lifecycle, including experience, engagement, administration, communications, and enablement. 
  5. Demonstrated ability to influence senior leaders and drive outcomes through cross functional collaboration 
  6. Strong strategic thinking, change leadership, and executive communication skills

 

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Manages departmental subordinate supervisors who supervise departmental employees as shown on the organizational chart. Is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of this unit. Also directly supervises departmental non-supervisory employees. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
