Departmental Summary:

Experience in partnering with group commercial insurance agents and event planning is a plus.

Responsible for providing high-level, strategic engagement and education on product, pricing, and solutions. They will create deeper partnerships with our key agents while delivering an enhanced level of solution-oriented education and consultative interactions at an agency level. This role will be dedicated to key agent partners in the Michigan business segment.
Provide support with the planning and execution of agent education summits and subsequent agency partnership meetings for identified key agencies.
Support Michigan business sales teams by providing key talking points post summit meetings and PowerPoint templates for partnership meetings.
Gather agency book of business data and curate Solution & Product marketing materials.
Partner with stakeholders across the enterprise to help drive content delivery strategy for agents.
Collaborate with communications specialist to ensure content is being shared in newsletters, portal, alerts, etc.
Act as a liaison between agency partners and BCBSM, serving as a SME on new products and solutions.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s Degree required.
A minimum of six (6) years experience in customer relations, agent relations, account management, or similar fields.
Valid Michigan Accident and Health Insurance License preferred.
Valid and unrestricted driver's license is required.
Strong ability to build and maintain relationships with both internal and external customers.
Ability to articulate BCBSM's value story in a clear and compelling manner including how products and services can contribute to agency strategy.
Experience with project management.
Ability to effectively collaborate across teams/stakeholders in the organization.
Ability to create high-quality presentation materials and communications.
Excellent speaking and presenting skills.
Understanding of insurance and benefits.
