The Deposit Operations Specialist is responsible for handling ACH, wires, account processing, supports audits and compliance, resolves customer issues, and monitors for fraud.
Key Responsibilities
- Support Deposit Operations Manager with daily operations and staff supervision.
- Deliver superior customer service and resolve complex account issues.
- Process ACH files and domestic/international wires; monitor for fraud.
- Process NSF, overdrafts, stop payments, collections, and GL balancing.
- Ensure compliance with bank policies, audits, and regulations.
- Oversee fraud prevention, quality control, and risk management.
- Prepare reports, assist with special projects, and support profitability goals.
Education and Experience
- College degree preferred; related work experience required.
- Strong knowledge of Windows OS, Microsoft 365, and banking applications.
- Knowledge of state and federal banking and compliance regulations.
- Excellent interpersonal skills: including use of professional and clear verbal communication and writing skills..
Physical Requirements & Working Conditions

- Ability to sit and stand to extended periods of time
- Ability to travel to branches, off-site training, and/or meetings as required
