Duties
- Develop and implement PR and media relations to enhance the organization's public image
- Write and edit press releases, articles, and other communication materials
- Conduct research to support PR planning and execution
- Manage social media platforms, reporting and engage with followers
- Collaborate with journalists and media outlets to secure press coverage
- Monitor and analyze media coverage to measure PR campaign effectiveness
Skills
- Excellent written, computer and verbal communication skills
- Clear knowledge of AP Stylebook and great grammar skills
- Proficient in proofreading and editing content
- Strong understanding of social media management
- Experience in writing for various media, including journalism or marketing
- Ability to cultivate relationships with media contacts
- Knowledge of media relations practices and social media industry trends
Job Type: Part-time
Expected hours: 12 – 18 per week
Schedule:
- 6-8 hour shift
- Monday to Thursday
- No nights
- No weekends
