Job Overview
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Provider Enrollment Specialist to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for managing the enrollment process for healthcare providers with various insurance payers, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. Duties

• Manage the entire provider enrollment lifecycle, including application submission, follow-up, and re-credentialing processes with managed care organizations and other insurance payers
• Verify provider credentials, licensing, and certifications to ensure compliance with industry standards such as NCQA (National Committee for Quality Assurance) standards
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of provider information within our enrollment database
• Collaborate with medical offices to gather necessary documentation and resolve enrollment issues promptly
• Monitor enrollment statuses and communicate effectively with payers to expedite approvals or address delays
• Stay informed about changes in managed care policies, regulations, and industry best practices affecting provider enrollment procedures
• Assist in training team members on enrollment processes and industry terminology to promote a knowledgeable work environment

Qualifications

• Proven experience in managed care or healthcare administration, preferably within a medical office setting or insurance environment
• Strong understanding of medical terminology and healthcare documentation requirements
• Familiarity with NCQA standards and accreditation processes is highly desirable
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail to ensure accuracy in all enrollment activities
• Ability to navigate multiple systems and databases efficiently while maintaining confidentiality
• Exceptional communication skills for effective collaboration with providers, payers, and internal teams
• Motivated self-starter capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
