Overview:
We are seeking an Apprentice Electrician or Journeyman Electrician to join our team. As an Apprentice Electrician, you will work under the guidance of experienced electricians to gain hands-on experience and develop the skills necessary for a successful career in the electrical trade. This is a paid position that offers valuable training and growth opportunities. As a Journeyman you will work with the other team members in residential and light commercial projects.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in accordance with local and national electrical codes
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
- Troubleshooting electrical issues and making necessary repairs
-Installation of electrical components such as switches, outlets, and lighting fixtures
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean work area
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently
Skills:
- Basic knowledge of electrical systems and components
- Familiarity with industrial electrician work is a plus
- Understanding of high voltage and low voltage systems
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings
- Proficient in using hand tools and power tools
- Knowledge of frame carpentry for mounting electrical equipment
- Familiarity with the National Electrical Code (NEC)
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Requirements:
- Must be enrolled in or have completed an apprenticeship program or vocational training in electrical work
- Provide Valid Journeyman card if available
- Valid driver's license is preferred but not required
