This role is crucial in maintaining a safe, functional, and welcoming environment for guests and staff, contributing to the overall guest experience and satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular inspections and perform preventive maintenance on all hotel equipment, including HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical systems, and other mechanical systems.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies, ensuring minimal disruption to hotel operations and guest services.
- Collaborate with the hotel management team to develop and implement maintenance strategies and schedules to enhance operational efficiency.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment status, and inventory of supplies to ensure efficient operations.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies, conducting regular safety checks and training as necessary.
- Coordinate with external contractors and vendors for specialized repairs or installations, ensuring quality and cost-effectiveness.

Required Education:
- Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related field is preferred. Equivalent experience in a similar role may be considered.
Required Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in engineering or maintenance roles, preferably within the hospitality industry.
- Demonstrated experience in managing and maintaining hotel facilities, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general building maintenance.
- Proven track record of leading a team and managing projects in a fast-paced environment.
