Job Description
We are seeking a User Acceptance Tester to join our dynamic team within the Testing Center of Excellence. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in functional and regression UAT, test preparation and execution, and defect analysis and a proven ability to validate application functionality, document accurate results, and support timely go-live readiness.
Responsibilities:
- Perform regression and functional User Acceptance Testing of systems.
- Assist in parallel runs to validate new system results against the current system.
- Document UAT test scenarios, test cases, and test scripts in qTest.
- Define and prepare test data to support execution coverage.
- Identify and analyze defects, collaborate with Operations teams, and drive timely resolution.
- Produce monthly and quarterly testing reports in parallel with test activities.
- Update out-of-date testing documentation and maintain traceability.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience in testing or technical support environments.
- Hands-on test preparation and execution for business applications and processes.
- Analytical problem-solving skills for defect analysis and reporting.
- Attention to detail with accurate documentation practices.
- Written and verbal communication skills to engage stakeholders.
- Proven teamwork and project delivery record.
- Ability to multi-task and test multiple applications in a release.
- Time management skills to meet tight deadlines.
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with test automation using Java, Selenium, or UDF.
- Experience with qTest or similar test management tools.
