Machine Operator Trainee – Night Shift
BC&F Tool Co. is looking for dependable, motivated individuals to join our team as Machine Operator Trainees. This is an entry-level position with hands-on training provided. Prior machine shop or manufacturing experience is helpful, but not required.
We are a precision manufacturing company looking for people who are reliable, detail-oriented, and willing to learn a skilled trade.
Responsibilities:
As a Machine Operator Trainee, you will learn how to:
- Operate production machinery safely and efficiently
- Follow work instructions, job travelers, and production paperwork
- Load and unload parts
- Count parts before and after production
- Check parts for basic quality requirements
- Use basic measuring tools
- Keep your work area clean and organized
- Report production issues, count discrepancies, or quality concerns to a supervisor
- Follow all company safety and quality procedures
Qualifications:
- Strong attendance and reliability
- Willingness to learn and take direction
- Ability to pay close attention to detail
- Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Basic math and counting skills
- Previous machine shop, CNC, inspection, or manufacturing experience is a plus, but not required
