Job Purpose
You will be part of a global Quantitative & Business Solutions team made up of >50 people who all have a passion for financial markets products and services offered to our clients. You will be part of a team that works under agile methodology with quarterly assignment to projects.
We’re looking for candidates with a quantitative background who would like to start their career in the financial services.
Within the team you will be able to perform the following kind of tasks (non exhaustive):
- Contribute to the transformation of the different Front Office businesses.
- Learn about and understand Sales and Traders processes and needs and help them in the conceptualization and coordination of projects.
- Understand the whole product value chain and promote the implementation of better end-to-end processes.
Position will be based in NY. The level of placement will be based on experience, education and skills.
Minimum experience and required skills
- Good understanding of written and spoken Spanish.
- MSc in Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science or Engineering
- Proficient in productivity tools (spreadsheets, word processors, etc.)
- Ability to work well individually and in teams
- Strong attention to detail, specifically for documentation and reporting
- Good written and verbal communication
- Effectiveness in terms of coordination and follow-up
Other highly valued skills
- Master degree in quantitative finance
- Background in mathematics and analytical thinking
- Financial mathematics and derivative products valuation
- Python or C programming language
With respect to this position in our New York Office, the expected base salary ranges from $75,000 -$75,000. It is not typical for offers to be made at or near the top of the range. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. In addition to salary and a generous employee benefits package, successful candidates are eligible to receive a discretionary bonus.
