What we’re looking for:
BBTV’s Direct Ad Sales Department is seeking a digital advertising sales expert for our growing LA office.
We are specifically looking for sales entrepreneurs who will help define BBTV’s product offerings to uniquely meet our advertising partners’ needs, while building strong and trusted brand and agency relationships that will drive revenue.
The successful candidate with have experience building and growing a book of business, a proven track record of being entrepreneurial and a self-starter, is solution oriented and a trusted consultative partner to agencies and brands.
This role reports to the Head of US Central and West Ad Sales.
Responsibilities:
• Prospect and grow revenue against a defined account list of the top Fortune 500 brands and their advertising agencies, build a deep understanding of the client’s organization, needs and revenue potential.
• Develop and maintain agency and client relationships at all levels of an account with a focus on brand marketers and media.
• Meet/exceed quarterly and annual revenue goals in accordance to the sales plan.
• Provide ongoing sales activity reporting and analysis for accurate revenue forecasting.
• Work with leadership on revenue forecasting, sales planning and sales strategy.
• Represent BBTV in the industry via conference attendance and active participation with the relevant organizations to increase brand awareness and drive new leads and client engagements
Experience:
• Minimum of 5-10 years digital media sales experience
• Passion for digital advertising and ability to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, changing environment
• Experience selling digital video and knowledge of YouTube and/or broadcast video a plus
• Track record of performing against quota and excelling in a highly competitive market
• Proven relationships and a strong track record with major mid-west agencies and clients
• Strong client relationships with access to brand marketers and senior decision makers
• Excellent written/verbal communication and storytelling skills; comfort presenting in front of clients a must
• Ability to travel to attend client meetings, conferences, seminars and industry events
