About the Role
A leading commercial general contractor specializing in tenant improvements, advanced manufacturing, and life sciences construction is seeking a Project Manager to lead multiple projects from preconstruction through closeout.
This role is ideal for a driven builder who thrives in fast-paced, technically complex environments and brings strong experience managing projects within a commercial GC setting.
What You’ll Do
- Lead full project lifecycle: planning, buyout, execution, and closeout
- Manage project budgets, schedules, and overall financial performance
- Oversee subcontractor procurement, contracts, and performance
- Review and negotiate change orders, scopes, and pricing
- Partner with Superintendents to drive field execution and scheduling
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders
- Coordinate with architects, consultants, and building departments
- Ensure quality control, safety compliance, and adherence to plans/specs
- Track project progress, billing, and reporting to leadership
- Support business development and maintain client relationships
- Mentor and develop junior team members
What You Bring
- 5–7 years of Project Management experience with a commercial general contractor
- Strong background in tenant improvements, life sciences, high-tech, or manufacturing projects
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Solid understanding of construction documents, estimating, and project financials
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field (preferred)
