Journey Line Foreman
We are an Electrical Line Contractor seeking a certified Journeyman Line Foreman to run crews in Colorado and neighboring states. Our company is seeking qualified individuals looking for steady work who aren’t afraid to step in and get the job done when duty calls. This person will works under the direct supervision of a Superintendent. Performs numerous duties including construction, maintenance and repair of Overhead & Underground distribution lines and related facilities, service work and other related and assigned duties.

Essential Duties:
- Frequently construct underground and overhead distribution lines which includes:
- Excavation, conduit installation, vault installation, UG wire installation and termination.
- Digging pole and anchor holes, framing poles, setting poles and anchors, stringing, sagging, armor rod, down guy, connecting conductor, pad mount gear and related tasks of new construction or on energized and de-energized lines.
- Climbing poles.
- Must be able to react to change productively and handle other tasks as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
- OSHA-10 training preferred
- Ability to accurately read and interpret staking sheets, maps and Spec Book on a daily basis.
- Ability to operate a bucket truck, boom digger, trencher backhoe and other various equipment as required on the job.
- Valid CPR/first air certification a plus.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must have a high school diploma or G.E.D.
- Must have completed a 4-year certified apprenticeship program and have experience in line construction and maintenance.
- A Journeyman Lineman Certificate is required.
- Must have a valid Colorado’s driver’s license before employment.
- Must have a Class- A CDL license.
Special Requirements:
- Must live within a 30-minle radius from the assigned office within 90-days from hired.
Essential Physical and Mental Demands:
- Must be able to occasionally lift up to 100lbs.
- Carry up to 50lbs. occasionally from truck to work site.
- When doing pole work or moving a transformer, it may be necessary to push and pull approximately 150lbs.
Pay: $55.00- $61.00/hr depending on experience (DOE)
Schedule: 7:00AM- 3:30PM, Monday-Friday. Overtime as necessary. On-Call. Half-hour lunch.
