Crew Lead/Lead Carpenter

Updated Position Overview

The ideal candidate is a seasoned residential carpenter who is ready to take the next step into a leadership-focused position.

This role will be approximately 75% crew leadership and supervision and 25% hands-on carpentry. The Crew Lead will oversee employees and subcontractors, coordinate daily job-site activities, assist with materials, maintain quality standards, and ensure projects stay on track.

The ideal candidate must also have experience using construction project management software, specifically JobTread and/or Buildertrend.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled carpenter who enjoys construction but is looking to transition away from performing heavy physical labor all day and take on greater responsibility, leadership, and ownership.

Updated Qualifications

• 10 years of carpentry experience required.
• 5 years of residential construction experience required.
• High-end custom residential remodeling experience required.
• Previous experience working with designers required.
• Previous crew lead, foreman, or supervisory experience.
• Strong residential remodeling and carpentry background.
• Experience leading both employees and subcontractors.
• Experience with JobTread and/or Buildertrend required.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints.
• Experience with:
• Cabinet installation
• Trim and finish carpentry
• Demolition
• Punch lists
• General residential carpentry
• Strong eye for quality and attention to detail, particularly when evaluating drywall and paint work completed by subcontractors.
• Valid driver's license.
• Reliable pickup truck capable of hauling a company trailer; company vehicle is not provided.
• Ability and willingness to purchase and pick up materials.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Takes ownership and is invested in the success of the company.
• Must be able to pass a drug test.
• Must meet the company's background check requirements.
