Cashier, Front of House

Job Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Front of House Staff to join our team. This role is essential in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while ensuring smooth operations at the front end of our establishment. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills and a passion for sales, contributing to an exceptional guest experience.

Duties

• Greet and welcome customers as they enter the establishment, providing a friendly and positive first impression.
• Assist customers with inquiries, providing information about products and services offered.
• Perform product demonstrations to showcase features and benefits, enhancing customer engagement.
• Utilize upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities while ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Handle transactions accurately, employing basic math skills for cash handling and retail math when necessary.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front area, ensuring it is inviting for customers.
• Supervise junior staff members when required, fostering a collaborative team environment.
• Exhibit excellent phone etiquette when responding to customer calls or inquiries.
• Address customer complaints or concerns promptly and professionally, ensuring resolution and satisfaction.

Experience

• Previous experience in customer service or retail is preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong sales skills with a proven ability to upsell products effectively.
• Basic math skills necessary for handling transactions accurately.
• Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply, as this can enhance communication with diverse customers.
• Familiarity with supervising staff is a plus, contributing to team leadership capabilities.
