Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their dining experience
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable
• Process sales transactions efficiently while handling cash, credit cards, and other payment methods
• Serve food and beverages promptly, including cocktails, spirits, wine, and non-alcoholic drinks, ensuring presentation standards are met
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, cleaning service stations, and adhering to food safety protocols
• Assist with food preparation or kitchen support when needed to ensure smooth operations
• Provide knowledgeable recommendations on menu items, wine pairings, and drink options based on guest preferences
• Support guest relations by addressing questions or concerns promptly and professionally

Requirements

• Previous food service experience in restaurants or hospitality environments; fine dining experience is a plus
• Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable for order entry and sales processing
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic demeanor
• Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting while multitasking seamlessly
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
• Experience with beverage service including cocktails, spirits, wine knowledge, and drink presentation techniques
• Basic math skills for processing cash transactions accurately
• Excellent communication skills to interact confidently with guests and team members
• Culinary or kitchen experience is advantageous but not required; willingness to learn is essential
