CLASSIFICATION: Custodian II-BBHES
EFFECTIVE: TBD
WORK SCHEDULE: Monday-Friday, 11:00 am-7:30 pm (8 hours per day)
STARTING WAGE: $17.93-$18.65
BENEFITS: Medical, Dental, Prescription, Vision, and Life Insurance

QUALIFICATIONS
- High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Related experience
- Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Superintendent and Board may find appropriate
- Exemplary verbal and written communication skills
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
- Ability to work effectively with others
- Ability to communicate ideas and directives clearly and effectively, both orally and in writing
- Practical, active listening skills
- Organizational and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of heating and cooling systems
- Knowledge of electrical and plumbing repairs
- Knowledge of safety procedures
- Training in the proper care and storage of chemicals, e.g., OSHA/PERRAC training
- Ability to read written instructions, warnings, and labels, and understand verbal directions
- Mechanically inclined with an attitude to do minor repairs, evaluate and assess mechanical concerns, and report the problems to the Head Custodian for further evaluation
- Acceptance of building use and the need for flexibility in cleaning schedules
